Week 5 Term 4...
We have had visits from the guineas pigs last week on different days as there are four of them for the children to love!
We have been very busy practising for Athletics which is tomorrow at 9.10 am.
We have also been continuing our sessions with Police Constable Emma. This week she has covered Touch that we like and don't like and tricks and secrets.
Some of the children in Tui have shown a big interest again in finger knitting and in discovering mini beasts and we also had Logan, Douglas's Dad come in and show us how to find fingerprints the police way!!! So lots happening as always in Tui and Piwaka classes.

Please continue to discuss the homework sheets with your children.
Next week we will be talking about Secrets and tricks.
Discovery time in Tui....
Urges in our play at the moment are:
Finger knitting....observing the caterpillars from Mrs Weston's garden...the Guinea pigs...Fire works and junk modelling.
Everyday the children take turns at reading to the class...this builds up their confidence and helps them to see themselves as readers.
